In the month of April we are focussing on Prayer - tieing in with the launch of our initiatives for Hope08.

The month will culminate with a 24 hour prayer room at the Riverside Centre where there will be opportunity to pray for 5 mintes or 5 hours!

Genetics. War. Business. Environment. Sexuality. How can Christians engage with the ethical dilemmas facing our communities today? How can we respond biblically, at home, at work, and in the wider sphere? How can we now what the bible really teaches on these issues; what does it mean to be 21st century ‘Biblical Christians’?

The summer term Deeper course is going to be all about Christian Ethics. We are pleased to welcome Roy McCloughry of St. John's College, Nottingham who is recognised as a leading thinker in this area.

2008 is an eventful year for communitychurch as this is all the more important as we get involved with Hope 08.

Hope 08 is an initiative supported not only by communitychurch but by churches and Christians in 1300 villages, towns and cities across the UK. We are getting involved with other churches and Christians in the Derby area to impact and change our local communities.
